So, when you say that it won't work on Verizon will it work if I enable CDMA-LESS, or will it not work on Verizon no matter what I do?

Where are the white and silver versions? Only selling Black in US? That sucks.

I only see one case on Amazon too... hopefully more come out. Debating on this or holding on til the Xperia 5 iii comes out.

I wonder when the UK store will get the 256GB version as they are only selling the 128GB version at the moment and it seems a bit small when there is no sd-card slot.

ispitonyourgravy, 30 Jun 2021Yours "from" $599.99? It's "for". ... more"From" 599 is correct, because that's the starting price. If there was only one variant of the phone, then you would need to use "for".

Is this A version missing bands 66/71?

Why would Asus release international version in USA? Ughhh

Tried it, absolutely loved it. Its size is nearly identical to Samsung Galaxy S7 which I have.
But... there's not a single decent screen protector I could find in EU, there was not a single decent case (RhinoShield, $30, plus around $30 shipping).

I returned it after a few days and got Samsung A52 5G. It has a metric ton of screen protectors and cases of all sorts and types. It isn't as fast as ASUS and camera on ASUS seems a bit better, but A52 has a few advantages by itself (less heat, more memory - I went with 256gb variant, smaller price, better sound in headphones, maybe just my headphones, no blue screen tint, which, from what I heard, is common on ASUS Zenfone 8).

Overall: if Samsung had A52-like S21-like device (FE? 64mp or 20mp camera with large sensor, better than A52, powerful processor, better than A52, headphone jack, maybe a bit smaller screen than A52 or higher resolution since I can see pixel matrix), I'd get that instead. If ASUS had plenty of cases and screen protectors available globally, I'd probably stick with ASUS (loved it, great camera, awesome hardware, although sound in headphones is a bit harsh and blue screen tint is a bit distracting).

If you're wondering if you should get Zenfone 8, try it somewhere. It's a great device, IMO. Not perfect, but pretty awesome.

I've changed the last one, because it wouldn't boot and bought a poco f1 in 2020, because there wasn't anything better that could survive me with a case.
