My 12 years old laptop runs latest Windows 10 Pro really well. I've only replaced hdd and doubled ram. It costed me only 100 dollars. Will run Windows 11 too if I bypass all security blocks that Microsoft made.

I'll buy iPhones for longevity. Not in software support but the idea of going to an Apple Store and getting the battery replaced with OEM stuff.

I don't trust Ubreakifix on my Pixel 3. I've read they might break your screen and replace it with a newer one. What if they do a poor job putting it back? What if the display isn't OEM quality?

Again, I still prefer Android over iOS but I've grown to accept Apple's ecosystem. I can rely on Apple more than Android to get my batteries replaced. And third-party accessories is a whole other segment that iPhones have.

A lot of iPhones age well like MacBooks do over Windows laptops. They can practically last forever if taken care of.

[deleted post]Haha, Can't wait when they see this

why? only a handful of countries have a decent 5G network, most barely have 4G.
let this 5G bs die for couple of years and then start thinking about it.

Still no inbuilt modem on Apple chip. Even budget mediatek based phones have inbuilt 5g.

they didn't offer mm wave before? it sure took them long enough.
