Then in the first week of June, Mi India announced that the phone has been delayed indefinitely because of issues beyond their control (most likely issues related to second wave of pandemic).
      Either ways, I was tired of waiting and thereby decided to import the phone. Cost me around the same as Indian pricing, so no complaints. There was no way I was going to pay Rs.35k extra for inferior Galaxy S21 Ultra with Exynos chip.

        This thing exists on android since... very long time ago or beginning of android. The only thing new is include it in marketing.

          I am waiting for Mi to sell the ultra here in India. Mi and Amazon page shows "notify me".
          No news from Mi on their Twitter page yet.

          Only people who got their hands on Mi 11 Ultra, here in India are Indian YouTube reviewers, as the company sent them those units.

            St.Elias, 01 Jul 2021Meanwile, I'm still wathing for Color OS 11 for my X2 Pro 👎i also don't get any software updates in my country for the lite version, installed thundervpn, or any other vpn you can use and selected Netherlands as server location then look for updates in your phone. now am on android 11 and last week even got the latest june security patch.

              [deleted post]I switched to the MI 11 Ultra few days back. But on my OP8 pro, I did not have any green tint issue. It was confirmed to be limited to some earlier batches of the phone.

              OnePlus Oxygen OS is slowly morphing into Color OS. But then the color OS of the past isn't the same as the current edition of color OS, which is a much lighter skin. They already ship OnePlus phones with color OS in China. Won't be surprised if these two skins further merge into a single Ui in the future

                          LPDDR4x, has a transfer rate of 4266 MT/s (Megatransfers per second) which is equivalent of 34128 MB/s
                          The newer and faster LPDDR5 increases this to 6400 MT/s, the equivalent of 51200 MB/s
                          So which of these UFS series storage gets near to RAM in term of R/W speed?
                          Day by day companies get more and more greedy with this type of super gimmicks
                          TBH now 5MP depth camera isn't as much gimmick as this

                            But I doubt those phones exist now.

                            On high end phones, this can allow more apps in memory, might help gamers on phones with heavy skins.
