Best fanboy comment I have ever seen. You are stuck in 2014 buddy. Use a brand new Samsung from now and you will see the light years difference.

I got into smartphones first time in 2014 with Samsung S5 but I was very disappointed by how laggy it was just a year later so I tried my first iPhone (6S Plus) in 2015. Right now my main device is iPhone 11 purchased in late 2020 but my iPhone 6s is still doing well and surprisingly is getting iOS 15.That means 6 years of updates if I count correctly. I have already installed the beta on the 6s and it is still a fully functional phone with good performance, still capable of editing videos on iMovie without lag, WAY BETTER than the performance of S5 when it was one years old. Conclusion: if you like to hold a phone for many years (and save money and the environment) get iPhones.

Samsung should drop the use of its Exynos processors in all markets in order to boost sales worldwide. So many people are avoiding Samsung just because of this, including myself.

peter jer frisco, 02 Jul 20215 years only? That's why Apple is still the most value... moreIts not highly valued because of updates, its seen as a more polished better product when it clearly isnt.
Its just an easy to use but boring device, and seen as a hype product

5 years only? That's why Apple is still the most valued brand. Even their oldest iPhone 6s still receives security/software updates.

AnonD-940827, 01 Jul 2021Screw security updates! Give the people 5 major updates!!! And the last 3 updates causes battery drainage and other issues. Nothing new, every company does that, so users be fooled into buying a new phone.
Common sense, if ain't broken, don't fix it.
90% users calls, rext, browse.
The 10% complaints are by geeks, nerd and tech website and all the users on gsmarena.com.

Every time you update, problems arise.
My s21Ultra is on the latest update, it has severe battery drain, but it was excellent when it was on the first out off box. Same as my Note20Ultra.
Had too root, and install first firmware that came in the box.
Don't rely on cheap poor security updates by Samsung.
I pay for VPN, and security every month which has lots off premium features that you don't get from Samsung cheap low updates.
I pay £90 a year.

Any idea if this includes the s20 FE? Seems easy to support if already adapting for several devices with the same core architecture.
