The 8Mp Ultra-Wide is a joke when they have a 13Mp sensor available, and the 13Mp Portrait is a lack of opportunities as a Telephoto with hardware Macro and Portrait would be much better.
Don't even get me started on the pill shaped punch holes and the curved edges display...
The selfie flash is nice though.

I figured that device many years ago after the Phantom 7. It is crappy. The only positive side is their cheap price tag

If we can install gcam, i am 100% sure it would be the best cameras for phones below $500. The main camera, selfie, ultrawide, zoom, hdr, portraits, colours, details, sharpness, all will be improved

This brand caters for emerging markets like Africa where they are selling sub-$100 phones. This $400 phone appears decent and only affordable by the more wealthy.

If phone breaks down and you have guarantee then you go to the shop and ask new unit or repair it and you dont pay anything. Self repairing are really low amount of people. If you break your screen and dont have insurance for the phone you just buy new phone like everyone is doing. But i agree with this that pixel 4a is old phone and why would anyone buy a old phone that still cost a lot when you have better options for the money. These people who sel there old phones are also minorities and the people who repair there phone is even more minorities. Never mind that there are lots of people who use there phone as long as it breaks down and that can take 5 plus years. I had some local news where in my country some people still use Nokia 6110 Or some 3G phones that are also like 15 plus years old

Tecno's skin is a mess and their devices are poorly made. Battery issues have never gotten any fix and their ad situation is worse than MIUI and Samsung combined. Buying such crap? Hell no! Won't even take a free device no matter the specs.

I think despite being a little older now, the most similar competitor for this phone is the Xiaomi Mi note 10, since it was was launched for U$500 if I remember right, and have similar features, with a worse selfie cam, but with 94mm tele instead.

The h/w sure is promising but the final results (in daylight) and overall package leave a bit to be desired. And also, why no OIS on a camera-centric phone?

Having a 50MP sensor of this size (for the larger pixels), the pool of competitors shrinks – or even completely disappears. The Mi 10 Ultra, the vivo X60 Pro+ are both too pricey. -- true
