Like I said earlier, this is literally the only flagship with no notch, a headphone jack, and an sd slot, which are the most basic "features" imaginable. Your priorities are out of whack.

I'm shocked how one niche phone stands out the market to produce so much hate.
Just accept that someone values it's features higher than features of "ultras" and not everyone want's the trendy things.
I hated Xperia for being last to accept high screen ratio, Hated Xperia 1 for removing jack and sd, mark II missed reverse Qi charging and XM3 doesn't have QI.
Mark III has dim screen, average cameras, odd screen ratio and no UWB, it's not present in my market and very late to wait.
But still I like what Sony offers the most on the current market of heavy bricks with curved screens with holes.

Not a good decision IMHO. XM3s support neither LDAP nor aptX HD, the XM4s do. (Yes I'm a Sony fan owning XM3s.)

Also, please tell m... moreI am a sony fan who used sony phones since sony ericsson years.but,I know market dynamics. I also studied it. sony's strategy lost in many ways.they closed sales in a lot of countries because they cannot compete anymore.
samsung has been dominating the market for 20 years.they have a solid existence (sales and aftersales) in almost every city in the world.so does apple.that gives a confidence on the brand. if a brand wants to compete with them, they need to steal customers by giving better value. value is not only the product itself on the paper. value is what you give in terms of accessibility, popularity, support and reliability. sony is not accessible. sony is not popular. sony does not provide proper support due to absence. if a minor brand like sony(unfortunately) wants to increase market share,they need to be cheaper than s21u. because sony cannot provide the rest. besides, s21u will get discounts due to past 6 months. so, $1149 would be a more confident price for sony.

Stop fighting kids. Xperia 1iii/5iii are one of the best full features smartphone this year. Finally I can vouch back to Sony. A bigger camera sensor in order to compete could be better though.
And those auto slow rotate? I saw it, that can easily be fix on the software side....but still funny that the bugs emerge as its a simple basic thing on a phone 😆

Yeah yeah Xperia doesn't have these superficial and dispensable features (holey, under screen, extra fast charging, very colorful, night mode) ... but once again the Xperia 1M3 will be the most complete smartphone this year. Do not displease the kids who complain.

People have voluntarily put all their trust in brands like Apple, Samsung, Oppo, Huawei Xiaomi and Vivo.
These are are the only brands capable of selling more than a 100 million phones per annum.

I remember some time ago when Xiaomi flagships had micro sd card and headphone jack, how Xiaomi fanboys were making fun of Samsung and iPhone users for missing out on this. Now, everywhere you look, they say those things are not important anymore. Lol.
Bottom line, every fanboy out there (from any brand) will try to justify their beloved brand bad choices somehow. Or mask the minuses of their phones. Hahaha.
