We need more phones with the modern specs of the present with the form factors of the past.
I was planning to get a Nokia N9 but then read about its app situation which is horrible. I only need old phones for call, text, email, and YouTube. Unfortunately, YouTube just can't be played on phones from a decade ago. And the browser app is way too outdated. I experienced this 6 months owning a Nexus One again before selling it 2 months later. It's utterly useless if the only way I can browse is Opera Mini.

Saying they want you to stare less is just because the government makes them remind you to take breaks. The more you use a phone, the more it wears off, the quicker you buy a new one from them

Companies aren't gonna be interested in making small phones again if they don't sell well such as the iPhone 12 mini. Plus making them smaller involves sacrifices that most people aren't ok with such as smaller batteries.

Can we start making phones small again? There is a recent study that says the bigger the display, the longer we stare at it. I want to go back to 15 years ago when I didn't stare at my phone all day. It's funny how Apple and Google to push us to take breaks from staring at the screen. Lower our digital addiction. But they still sell phones with large displays.
Best phone ever made is really the iPhone SE from 2016. I'm serious. Was never my favorite but it's become it because I love the size of it. An SoC from 6 years ago. A design from 9 years ago. Yet, it still looks beautiful and it's still smooth even on iOS14. Just be ready to plug it to a power bank a lot.
I want phones like the size of the og SE. Easy to slip in my pocket. I want my thumb to reach all four corners of the display again. One-handed used phones needs to return. I own the 12 mini and dislike Face ID and don't find it to be that small at all.

Michael Fisher, Mr. Mobile, has a segment called When Phones Were Fun. It's also When Phones Were Much Easier To Hold.
Bring back all the old designs from the 2000s to early-2010s Bring back their varying designs. What's old becomes new again.

Motorola always would make some of the best devices but after the lenovo acquisition things became boring. The design and innovation seems to be gone. Their phones are just another bricks. I have the X Force and the Z2 Force and they are one or the best phones made by Motorola but now they're discontinued although I would love to buy again with updated specs

Phone design and sizes were much better a decade ago. Now most of them just look the same and are unwieldy.
