Don't complain about this phone being 2G. 2G network is helpful in emergency situations. Being a fisherman 2G signal can reach greater distance especially on seas.

      It is 4g

2G are they living in the past. That is early 2000 not 2021. They should have made it 3G

            Why 2G?
3G at least and would be a smash hit.

Dizo Star 500 should come with a 360x640p (VGA, 262ppi, since we are habituated to 400+ppi) res LCD screen, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, either a 2MP cam or NO cam and 3G enabled, wifi and wifi hotspot.

If your target consumer belongs to low-income group, why would you sell a device which might become obsolete very soon. That consumer is obviously not going to change the device in a short period regardless of the price tag. The camera part, I can agree on that it is not necessary but network support is. Among the large carriers in India, one doesn't even have 2g/3g support and others will remove it once 5g rollout begins.

This phone is not for casual users. This is for two types of people. First, the elderly who doesn't need advanced features. Second, Those who are trying to abstain from over digital media consumption and want a 5-7 days of battery life and lightweight device. Yes. This is a great option with sturdy body. The new nokia phones have terrible battery life. I like this phone.

I'm from UK and feel this phone is an insult to the Indian market. 2g and a VGA camera? Even feature phones should be minimum 3g with at least a2-5mp camera no matter how cheap they are. This phone should be given away free just for walking in the shop!

2G phone in 2021!!?? What's wrong with them! Even a feature phone needs 3G at minimum

AirY, 06 Jul 20212.8 inch BIG screen😂😂😂😂The truth is born in comparison. Back then when N82 with 2,4 inch display was my daily driver, I tried friends N95 8GB, which had 2,8 inch display. It positively felt HUGE.
