This is different than “monopoly” on Apple devices. I’d argue that Google should have same “monopoly” rights on their own Pixel phones as Apple has on iPhones. But on all other devices, it shouldn’t. Also we’ll see how official 3rd party app stores support will work on Android 12.

[deleted post]Huh? Your statement makes zero sense.

It's a lost battle and war at this point.

We're heading towards a corporate ruled world and Google is at the forefront.

Willz, 08 Jul 2021Android is very much open and easily Allows 3rd party apps ... morePreach...Apple internationally prohibits full access to the device..why isnt anybody suing them

Android is very much open and easily Allows 3rd party apps and stores despite the warnings. If they complain of Android, I wonder what about Apple.

What about Apple? which is imposing Mega-Monopoly from app store to payment to eco-system to compatibility.
I doubt it is Apple behind those 30+ plaintiff states who are blaming less culprot Google, but ignoring serial killer of monopoly Mr. Apple :(

At least not as bad as Apple's monopoly. Apple's monopoly is unrivalled

                  I don't understand
Android is Google OS, it's their right to control what's in their environment.
                  just like Apple closed market.
