This time please Xiaomi give your tablet at least 3 years of updates or more.

I currently have mi pad 4 plus.
Planned to get the tablet if (and I Hope it's) : significantly bigger than 10.1, real stereo speaker (preferably front facing, not that bothered by bezels on tablets), micro sd support.
What I want, but not a deal breaker if not : headphone jack, high speed usb, otg & memory, international version, accessories, good battery life, nice screen.
What I don't really care : super great CPU, Camera, sim support (wi-fi is enough for me) .

I don't get it. Why keep placing a good camera setup at the back for tablets, when in fact people mostly use the front-facing camera? Why not put the good cameras in front?

Shall it have a wifi cellular both? Shall it enable calling too? I just need it for those purposes, browsing daily dose of social media, whats app, fb, insta etc. and google chrome etc.? Somebody please suggest me as I don’t know much on this, weather this tab shall be good for me or there are others in the market upto 500 $/ 40 indian k!

The quality of the hardware is not on par with Samsung but the components and freedom that comes with it, will trump a Samsung for me, if the price bracket is maintained

Hopefully the screen comes in 16.9 aspect ratio. I'm tired of all the wired aspect ratio the tablets are coming out with, Sony never realised another tablet and they were the only ones caring to conserve this aspect ratio.

Looks good, though I doubt these tablets will be released globally.

As long it has stylus support that is close to Apple pencil and the price is reasonable, I will get it.

Mi Pad 1 also had an LCD with the very same resolution and it was absolutely great!
I loved that tablet, just sold it a year ago (2012 model).
This new device could be the real flagship killer in its category.

Do we know if only the PRO model will be 11" or the non-pro as well?

main concern is stock ROM.
MIUI is buggy and awful. though okeish on a smartphone, it will cripple tablet experience.
