Our Sony Xperia 1 III video review is out

08 July 2021
The phone is equipped with the first-ever 4K 120 Hz display on mobile and a unique dual focal length tele camera - but how good are they, actually?

Just because it has more features than the others (even if you are using them or not, you have the choice to use them), it's better than the other phones.

I'm honestly giving up at this point -_-
If you continue with your bashing without reason, I'll start reporting. Your choice sweetboy.

Mine is just that phone should have all the features available, be it selfie cam or mSD, because they are as useful or useless and people should be given the choice. Here we don't have choice since most major brands dictate what people should have or not, by all doing the same thing.

Not everyone use a mSD slot, or a selfy cam. But you DO have a selfy cam that does the job on any phone even on this one (that is still better that the over hyped under-screen selfy cam), but you DON'T have a lot of choice if you want a mSD slot because there is only a handful of handset proposing it.

My previous comment was simply calling out Denis for assuming DCI 4K as the only widely accepted 4K standard and mocking the other person.

Nick Tegrataker, 11 Jul 2021I guess I should've used the term "defects" ... moreOK no problem. Lens distortion means that straight lines (vertical and horizontal) bend and sometimes a barrel effect is created.
Softness of lens means that lens has low resolution (in lines per mm) and that is a natural diffraction of light

                        Cheers ;)

XZ Premium initially suffered from a pincushion distortion which is one of the lens distortion that I already stated to be correctable. All of them are far less of a problem compared to not being able to focus on a part of the frame when the rest of it does. Your claim is essentially equivalent to saying that misfocused image is correctable through software processing, which is not even remotely close to being true. Please learn the basics then come back to me, thanks.

XZ Premium had distortion issues, and Sony fixed them with a software update. You can fix hardware with software when software is the important factor in the hardware.
