[deleted post]Man it doesnt matter any half baked flagship for half the price is twice as better as Sony 1 III. Even nubia red magic 6 pro for 500 bucks is much better phone to get.
Good or bad review and killing bussiness is a much better idea than telling nothing ad then you find tons of unhappy customers who bought this piece of crap and are not happy and satisfied with this phone. ň
To be honest any and all reviews should contain all pros ad cons regardless of device and promoting one brand should be prohibited because you will always find a better one device if you look carefully,
The only exception is Mi 11 ultra which is curently the best device in every single aspect money can buy and i really dont think this year something better will be released. Maybe a Huawei P50 pro or Mate 50 pro but until is out i cant say yes or no. Apart that all left miles behind.

      I wouldn't say Sony made the best phone ever with the Xperia III because they did not, but even if it was one it's not one of favorite brands on this site, and thus it automatically has that issue.

          Jeez GSMArena, can I finally vote? Fix it.

          Anyhow Xperia 1 III doesn't make much sense to me, Xperia 5 III is 95% same and probably at least €300 cheaper too.

          But are both to late? Maybe, the worst part is that Sony announced them ages ago and we still have to wait for so long.

          Meanwhile other phones come out and some same priced ones as the Xperias got cheaper too.

          In that sense yes they are too late.

              First of all, Chrome is terrible, and secondly you should use the GSMArena app from Google Play Store.

                I love Sony as it was my first mobile phone. But now it's not possible.
                Sony has exit the Indian market as far as mobile phones are concerned.

                  It's not a phone that's made for everyone, and Sony is NOT forcing anybody to buy these phones, so let's all settle down and stop being so hard on Sony so much.

                  If it's not fit for you, then it's not for you, so go find something else that suits your needs better and move on with your life. It's just a goddamn phone ffs!

                    I really like the 3.5mm+microSD card combo, but the price is too high... I love Sony but I can't afford that.. even the 5 III is too expensive..

                      Sony phones are largely irrelevant in the market right now

                        Can't vote as usual because the poll is broken in Android Chrome.
                        I've been burnt twice by recent buggy Sony phones, I had an Xperia 5 and an Xperia 1 ii, the latter was so bug-ridden I had to dump it.
                        Nothing would make me pay any price for another one, I'm done with Sony.

                            If I was forced to buy a Sony phone it definitely would not be the 1 III with the extremely gimmicky 4K screen and sub-par battery life... I'd get the Xperia 5 III.
                            But yeah, these phones offer very bad value for money. And not gonna lie, initially I was quite interested in the 5 III because Sony promised improved cameras, and the "variable telephoto" definitely sounded interesting. They had me fooled for a while. But as usual, when actual reviews were released, Sony failed to deliver on their promises and their latest phones are mediocrity at its finest, once again. I don't know what it is with Sony, but for the XH90/X900H TV, they promised good things such as VRR and a fix for the 4K120 blur. Flash forward to today, people are still waiting for those. I am so disappointed with Sony. Not just with their phones, but other products such as TVs as well. Thumbs down from me for Sony...

                              For those who can afford it, it's a solid phone with some caveats.
                              But I'd personally go with Xperia 5 III since it's much easier for my hands and also better battery life w/o the 4k screen
