I do not understand how you can literally settle for the same thing year after year and not ask for any improvement, you are paying a premium of money and it is so that they give you the best, not to repeat the same thing every year, come on, they are better than this, it exists for its fans, not its fans for them as is the majority, then someone criticizes an iPhone and they defend it with stupid arguments, but if they asked for the best they could defend it with real arguments
Do you think it is fair that the i12 does not have at least 90Hz ?, but everyone praised it saying that they do not need that, that they already have enough fluidity, but they will "implement" it this year, and there they forget everything they said, and This does not happen only with them, with Xiaomi it is the same, they all said they did not need QHD, but since Xiaomi implemented it, it is the best and they forgot all the bs that they talked about FullHD, the same with Samsung, they think it is just lose all specs in a generation and still defend it? Saying that it was going to be lighter and blah blah blah, and in the end it wasn't like that, Sammy implements Cristal in the Ultra and they don't say anything there either
Fans are supposed to demand more of their brands (within reason), not applaud all the bs they do

The only phones that interest me at this point are flip phones. But the polish and maturity isn't there yet. I would like to get one by 2024 to celebrate my 20th anniversary using flip phones for 4 years. I prefer it to be Motorola.

We've reached a point where phones have reached its peak. It's just not as exciting like it was a decade ago. Honestly, more people should be fine with that. Save money.

With all other brands, cases for flagships are super easy to find, but for anything else it very much depends on many things. Usually becase iPhones are just few models and anyone can bet on that as it'll sell anyway. With Samsung, they have like 30 models every year, then be smart and make the right cases in sufficient quantities that will sell well and not remain in your stock forever.

I've carried two phones since the days of my Sanyo SCP-5500 and Motorola V600 in 2004. But why not use two pairs every year? I have no interest getting a newer phone. It seems mor people buy a new phone every 4+ years now. I probably won't get another new device until 2025.
By rotating every six months, all four my phones can last twice as long. Since it's July 10 as I type this, I'm using my Essential Phone and iPhone SE until January. My 3-month old 12 mini is stored in a laptop carrying case next to my G5, Pixel 3, and Mi 3.

Nice job apple by creating more e-waste by moving cameras and buttons around a little for no reason while keeping the phone the same size. So much for caring about environment lol

To everyone complaining about small changes... Guess what, literally NO ONE forces you to upgrade. There is nothing wrong sticking with older model if it serves you well and has everything you need. For new buyers or those who do buy every single new model, well, they either have the money and just don't care or they just always want the latest model no matter how big or small the changes are. Stop being so god damn annoying in every Apple article. Damn. Volkswagen also makes tiny changes to every Golf iteration and people are fine with it. Because there no one forces you to buy new model every time either. Do you flood forums and comment sections for that too or is it just Apple? Heh.
