Well it should better have a newer or better chipset than the current M21 or else I see absolutely no reason for this phone to exist at all.

I mean, it would definitely make even less sense if they named it M22 without a single hardware update. The M21 was a good phone, better than the A31 and still better at some specs than the A32. If only they made the M21 available in my country as well from the start, then they wouldn't have to do this to their remaining M21 stocks. SMH

Doesn't matter. People who use this type of phones do not know anything anyway, so to them M21 2021 is better than M21 2020 and they will buy it regardless of identical specs between the two.

Well there is one big major difference.
While M21 of year 2020 started with android 10 ad now got 11 it will get android 12 and is done.
Where M21 2021 edition started with android 11 and will get android 12 and 13 for sure.

They can't make a lot of devices due to lack of parts so they release the same thing under a different name to stay in the news.

Samsung should use snapdragon 678/690/733G/720G/712 for their M series. They will sell well than what it is now. No more Exynos midrange chipsets. Samsung should use Exynos only in top of the line handsets(Even though I don't want Exynos at all).
