Google did it all the time with their Pixel phones, leaking months in advance and then being a disappointment when they're released.

After all, you are using the same screen but half of it when folded. While Samsung solution requires two screens, at least you the chance to break both screens is minimal.

It probably still has the best selfie camera hardware I'd imagine.

Huawei let their pride go and adapted Samsung's inner folding design. I think Samsung is going to have to do the same and utilize Motorola's approach to the hinge. If not, I don't see this gap going away. Their hinge is still too bulky.
