The iPhone produces very balanced images, better than most phones, including Samsung. Apple simply has better AI than most.

But my personal experience with night mode on it uses iso more than 2000 but Samsung galaxy s20 FE has 1/1.73” sensor uses around 500 to 1000 iso when using night mode achieved same exposure. Using higher iso when camera sensor size is small actually reduced details level

A higher iso allows you to use a lower aperture and shutter speed giving you a sharper photo with a wider focus. A higher iso also means you're using a more expensive sensor.

do you ever notice that all Chinese phones except Huawei uses high ISO with night mode on despite having a big camera sensor ? But Samsung, Apple use lower ISO with night mode on and capture same amount of light...does Chinese phones does not know ISO management ?
