It's probably going to be an improved version of the G60.

So it turns out that the G60S is actually much worse than the G60 spec wise and at a much higher price point.

If the recent line of Motorola phones are anything to go by, then I'm assuming the G60S will be barely any different to the G60 all except a few meaningless trimmings like an extra 2GB RAM. The biggest difference will no doubt be the price. G60 is around 200EUR and the G60S rumored to be as much as 320EUR. Looks like Motorola is trying to sting European customers by tarting up a phone that's already out there that's worth half the price they'll be peddling it for.

Moto G60S, seriously? That is Moto betting on a dead horse. The 108 MP high resolution camera in the Moto G60 is all gimmick. The resolution is poor, AF hunts a lot in the photo mode, The macro is a hit or miss due to unreliable AF and the quality is noisy. Motorola downgraded the phone specs literally by taking away the 4K 120fps and 4K 60fps advertised at the time of launch. They removed those specs from the product website as well. How can they even do that? The camera of this phone is a train wreck. Selfie camera is terrible. Images are soft and noisy. No AF available. The image stabilization is bad too. It is hard to believe the software team chose to completely ignore this model which is just 2 months old. I regret my upgrade from Moto Z Play which served me well for last 4 years. Only good thing about this phone is its clean UI and decent battery backup. But then again to charge from 10 to 100 percent, it takes almost two and half hours which is not so impressive.

The only thing missing for me was stereo speakers, if they add it in the S version, I'd consider it.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2021Too big. Moto only make phones for giants.Yes, seems like a great budget phone(G60), but way to massive.
Plus, it never arrive in Serbia where i'm at, so i went for G100.
Which is basically a clone of my previous phone G 5g plus with better soc and camera.
Way better in hand feel and great phone.

Xylem Everglow, 13 Jul 2021I hope that the display panel will be Amoled / Super Amoled... moreNo need of AMOLED or SD upper mid rangers required on this as it is only mid ranger. That will bump up the price to nearly double. You could find other options for your requirement, not every phone needs to be similar.

Xylem Everglow, 13 Jul 2021I hope that the display panel will be Amoled / Super Amoled... moreNo amoled for sure. It is kept for flagships. Snapdragon 870 powered phone from Motorola mostly will have amoled display.

I hope that the display panel will be Amoled / Super Amoled and the SoC will be 778G / 780G. If it has these then I will definitely buy it. Hopefully, they would also start releasing their phones in PH.

At least the should have to minimize the phone size.

Hopefully snapdragon 768G/750G/778G/780G powers this device.
