Apple doesn't even have the 20w charger in the box whereas android has 120w charger in the box and is soon moving to 160w and 200w. Remember iphone 11 charging disaster it had a pre-historic 5w charger that's like the most slow charger in the world. Even the small battery it charged that in like 3 hours so u can already expect if apple used it in the bigger models. Smh

Also no it does tonyl save pennies it save alot of bucks(not more than 5 bucks tho) but even those 5 bucks make a huge difference when u make phones as phones are produced in huge amounts. Also lightning port does not support any charging above 20w yet it is used in 1500 dollar device. Meanwhile andriod is already at 120w. Oh and u apple fan bois argument thta faster charging destroys battery life. Those romours are already busted and u better shuut up

Zero exceptions. They did it in 1 day what USB-C hasn't achieved it yet even years after its launch. It's just inexcusable that because it's "budget" device it has to use microUSB instead of USB-C. It's lame argument as there are literally pennies being saved on using older connector over newer one. USB-C should be used on all devices these days as it would realistically affect price of device up to max 5€ per device. They buy the USB-C ports in cents because it's such bulk quantities.

Also when android had buttons ios also had buttons till it came on iPhone x when andrido already had removed buttons. Maybe ur saying about gesture navigation(idk the name it's like u swipe on the bottom of the screen to do something) well gesture navigation many ppl who aren't tech savvy don't use it and the standard three key navigation is much easier to operate and u don't need to memorise it if u us eit for first time.

Everyone only cares about profits. It's just a matter of how bold you are at pricing and how far you can get away with it. Just because Apple sells this expensive battery pack it doesn't mean it'll be a massive success. Sure there will be people buying this, they have millions of users, but it just won't be a massive success. Also, Apple is the only company where you can attach a battery pack of any sort, even if as pathetic capacity as this one. There is not a single phone maker that offers such feature and as such they feel they can charge this much as a result.
Besides, soon there will be bunch of 50.000 mAh battery packs from Chinese companies. And bunch of other phone makers will copy the magnet design on the back and then tap into this segment of attachable accessories. I mean, just look at the earbuds segment. Before AirPods, it was a very niche industry and now it's all the rage by everyone because Apple popularized it. For some reason Chinese makers of everything didn't catch on just yet. But now that Apple made the attachable battery pack, they will.

Or do you need to look up in the dictionary what "predates" means? It means it existed BEFORE USB-C. Which means Apple was developing it years before, testing design, validating it, getting it approved from various electronics validation agencies and releasing it to public BEFORE any USB-C device existed, adopting it instantly across all their devices from that moment on. How long it took for USB-C to catch on? It's only now that even budget devices are also getting USB-C. And there are still ones stuck on microUSB in year 2021.
They designed the first reversible connector and they were as a result forced to use it to return the investment or simply a reason. You don't just ditch years of work and millions spent on something. And that's why it is how it is. You may not like it, I may not like it, but that's how industry works. Though you seem to not understand any of it which explains your dense response.
