Sure u paid money for it but one ui is also bloated ppl complain but as much as miui? No. U can also just remove the bloatware and ads from settings. And a normal person knows how to use settings so.

hmm, 14 Jul 2021These entry level wasn't exactly compact size. 5.45 in... moreThe Redmi 6A is NOT a compact phone. The post you are responding to clearly mentions the Redmi 4 (also called Redmi 4X in some markets) as a compact phone. The 4 was under 140mm in height and under 70mm in width. So were devices like the Redmi 3/3 Prime and the 4/4X/4 Prime.

plus if redmi 10 is coming then probably it will be somewhere between entry level and midrange, so amoled would be a cheaper one and will get color burn in a few months probably. So IPS would not only be cost effective but also sustainable than cheap amoled.

Motorola and OnePlus for example, makes it simple for you to get the unlock bootloader code, it's instant, meanwhile with Xiaomi, it's harder, sometimes you have to wait up to 20 days to get that code.
Xiaomi will never be popular in the West countries, here in Brazil their devices is a whole lot more expensive than Samsung ones lol, only crazy people would buy Xiaomi over Samsung for more money 😂

Samsung software is a whole another league of its own, can't compare with Xiaomi immature and buggy software, they release so many phones nowadays, some of them with bugs out of the box, not to mention the numerous rebranding of a same device, for me there's no excuse for lackluster software development.

As some already said here, people that install custom ROM and root their devices are a NICHE type of users.

You paid real money for both, Hard- & Software. Changing ROM may void your warranty of the phone, or even brick it. Not all phones have custom ROM's, not all custom ROM's are good or stable.
Custom ROM's are made by other individuals, that make them as a hobby, who from one day to another may end the support for the specific device (because he picked a new phone, or broke the current one, for example).
And how many people you think, that aren't tech enthusiasts can install custom ROM's by their self (find XDA forums for example, download all the needed applications, the ROM, extras apk's, and then the whole install process)? Just think your mother, father, uncle, sister. In reality installing custom ROM's is a very very small niche of people who are changing ROM's. The vast majority don't can or want.
