Facebook will invest more than $1 billion to creators on Facebook and Instagram

14 July 2021
There’s a clear effort to draw users back to the two platforms.

Does anyone still even use Facebook?

I packed it up over a year ago.

Mathew, 15 Jul 2021By selling all your data and whatever else they can sell.Wel that an option but is also a crime for which anyone can get jailed for eternity.

People who still use Instagram, likely wants to keep it separated from TikTok or don't use TikTok at all. If they start making it trashy like TikTok, some people are just gonna leave or wait for alternative to the old Instagram to appear and jump over.

So they can't buy out the (slightly less crappy) chinese TikTok competition and assimilate it into the growing monopoly of a tumor that is everything Facebook. That's why they want to throw pennies at thirsty / clueless "content creators" to keep them hooked on as they and their viewers are milked for multiple dollars to the pennies directly and indirectly.

The US gov should grow a spine and throw the book at this stain of a company. Antitrust for starters, aiding and abetting also can be enforceable since the FB board KNEW about what's happening on their platform and not only did they not stop the spread of hate and insanity, but they actively encouraged it. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. Dive deeper into the dark Facebook Groups cesspool and everything from CP to animal abuse will start surfacing with shocking ease. All this is documented and reported and even prosecuted when the sickos are caught, yet the US congress is busy sitting on their old saggy bhalls and bickering like senile morons rather than stopping the spread of this rotten company, even after it was ground zero for setting up an attack on Them.

Yet they want those kind of content creators or hapless people getting pulled into this sort of content muck? History will not be kind to the people who run this filth or the people who stand by and did nothing to stop it's spread.

Shut down Facebook and convict them on the grounds of infringement of privacy at the mass level

They should invest in developing a decent app, only 2.3 stars on Play Store, a company this big with such buggy app, horrível, it's a RAM hog, and it stores way to much cache data.

Both Facebook and Tiktok deserve to disappear tbh. They have brought more issues than benefits.
