Anonymous, 15 Jul 2021Telegram doing that since 2014 😂Telegram is different from Whatsapp, Telegram messages are stored in the cloud(server), and they are not end-to-end encrypted (except Secret Chat which isn't available for desktop client). while WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted.
Yes Telegram is awesome, but learn before commenting

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2021Telegram has been doing this for years. Where's the novelty?im pretty sure telegram doesnt provide end to end encryption unless you select "secret chat", which is only available on one device.

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2021For some reason they forgot to include in the diagram how t... moreYour data is always sent from your ISP, then forward to the Internet. Govt with control over your ISP will be able to view it if they choose.
Even if you use public VPN.. you think you can escape? NO, because ultimately the traffic goes to your ISP first.. then hops to the VPN's server. And how you know the public VPN will not be swayed in anyway to give the info to other parties?
So how??? Thats why there is encryption! It doesn't matter if your data is intercepted by Govt, corps or hackers.. so long as its encrypted.. they have to pour in time and resources to decrypt it.. If you are not worth their time, most likely it is safe.

LOL only 10 years behind other apps with much better privacy policies than whatsapp. I'm still confused why anyone uses it when other communication apps work across multi devices without issue and they have much better privacy. Ridiculous app.
