Wes Xpress, 15 Jul 2021Finally a reason to get a Chromebook.Xd

Good for me.

Management by Microsoft, Security Policies by me.
Less tasks to be done, Less workforce, Less monitoring, more free time, more servers to Administer, more income, better life.

I hope so, but my experience with Microsoft Servers since NT 4.0 taught me that, not be too happy, because user base of >1B will change any facility to a bug box.

If Microsoft grow it up and then throw it to the sky, the service at least for me will fly to the utmost level of security and network speed.

Waiting for Windows 11. Hope I can bypass all blocks and install it. If not will use Windows 10 for two more years.

Dock a phone on a monitor and cloud windows will show. Pretty neat. An organization could give their employees a work phones that also a work PC. It may not suitable for personal useage as it save everything on cloud which is a bit privacy concern but for business it's looking great, easier for IT department to manage

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2021Because Streaming Windows on Windows makes no sense. Since it is office 365, aim is to access via any platform across the world.

OSaaS. Interesting. Possibly to combat spread of Chrome OS. It would also take away work from HP thin clients and Citrix.

  • Ano

It makes sense, because you can use very high end PC on mere i3 laptop. And probably pay as you go.

The price of Office 365 subscription can get as low as 2£ per user/month. Why can't they include Windows 11 with Office into a 3£ pack??😩
