Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 specs revealed on Geekbench

15 July 2021
The new foldable clamshell might be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event in August.

this is my replacement of Note20U, i didn't keep Flip1 because it was pathetic (camera subpar, mono speakers, low freq display, slow cable+Qi charging etc). But i'm hoping they fix this. We'll get
- much faster phone than Note20, like 2-3generations ahead in reality
- better fingerprint instead of STILL disfunctional Samsung-under-display reader
- better display protection vs normal phones as it's closed
- more visible AOD (small display) and permanent charging notification
- tiny phone of half size in the pocket, keys won't scratch display anymore
- cool phone instead of classic hide-in-the-case-look-alike brick
- lightweight to finally relieve the hands

If you get dirt all over yourself all the time, there are plenty of things you shouldn't own, but more importantly, clean yourself up, Tim.

I know you're not an Android user. Your nonsense is straight out of the Apple shlll handbook. Hate innovation and worship the black hole that is Apple. Same destructive pattern, day after day, year after year.

Just ignore it, foldables will get better by the time thanks to beta testers like him, and then people like us should get it.

        Right?

For private use I have a android phone, because of the freedom android gives me, but to people like you I probably lie and surely I must be a apple shill user whatever.

        Right?

If you ever had a foldable, especially the Samsung one you would know what happens if dirt gets inbetween the phone when flipped.

Screens of ANY foldable is too fragile, and it's LOGICAL considering it is not the same type of glass all regular phones use.

Glass or not, the softness of it makes it so fragile, so instead of accusing me of being a "apple shill" just because I do not share your damn fanboy opinion, look AT LEAST at Jerryrigseverything before you acuse people of stuff.

I am not even bother to explain I use android, people like you call out anybody that has a different opinion, but oh well I "must be a apple shill".

        Right?

Current foldable glass is not yet there, there are multiple ways to make glass and not all glass has the same hardness.

Jeez, I know this is internet but by know you would think some type of fanboyism would finally disappear, it's disgusting and toxic behaviour.

I find it sad that you just try to find negatives, mostly through lies, and keep flip flopping around like a dying fish when proven wrong....
Haters gonna hate. This tech is the future, Apple shlll.

I know someone who gets a new phone each year, and his current Galaxy Fold is full of scratches on the inside.

I'll wait until they use more proper glass, even if what they use is glass, it's just as fragile as plastic would be and for a phone at that price I expect more.

Guess we need more "beta testers" with big pockets.

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2021Only problem is that until now, they only folded plastic. All foldable Samsung phones use glass displays. There is a protective layers of self healing plastic on top, as their first gen folding glass use extremely thin glass to be able to fold.

Most Chinese foldables does however still only use plastic, except for some of the ones using Samsung displays.

When price will drop below 1000 dollars foldables, flips, rollabels etc will be huge success.

Everybody wants bigger displays but also to carry those in a bag or pocket.

This is the next big thing in smartphones.

As long as the screen is scratchable by nail and have zero durability the wole device price shouldnt be more than 300 or 500 bucks.
