ae86, 18 Jul 2021How about the health and lifetime of the battery? It's fine. They're not letting the battery exceed 40 degrees centigrade. i don't know what that is in American.

When will it be available in Nigeria

Im curious what happens if you are playing games(high temp) and then you charge the phone since that might be a normal scenario for gamers.

Modest Mind, 18 Jul 2021I wonder how long is the battery going to last? 6 months?instead of wondering try to do some research and learn some stuf.then your comments will have some reasoning to discuss.

I'd say that three-digit super-fast charging would make sense if the smartphone has a super large battery capacity. Heck, this would even make sense for power banks. If we can have 160W on a 20,000mAh or larger power bank, that would be sweet. For now though, I'm totally more than happy with 30W to 45W charging rate.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2021Like i said earlier kudos to infinix....if this was samsung... moreits usb standard mate, nothing to brag, usb org anounced next gen port will be able to handle up to 240W, and already other oems showcased it.

In all honesty, I don't get the attraction to faster and faster charging speeds.

On Huawei phones I have had with "only" 40W fast charging, the actual capacity (the battery health) has dropped significantly over the space of a single year. When new they would last a day with ease, but within a year they would struggle - despite usage patterns not changing.

I've currently got a phone I charge with a 20W USB-PD charger and that's plenty fast enough for me.

It seems to me it's just another way to shorten the time between phone purchases and generate more revenue. In a world where we already have issues with e-waste, it feels in bad taste.
