But this one has stock UI Android experience if you like. Don´t know about the batery life should be better on the Moto too.

If you´re a power use looking for specs go for the Realme

There are still people interested in this phone, even if there are cheaper alternatives. 1, because of availability, 2 because they prefer clean android experience, 3 because they prefer the moto design, 4 better battery life, And the list can go on. Let's be honest, when you look at 2 phones with different screen resolutions how many of us can tell the difference? Only power users. But people who buy these phones don't really care about numbers. They just need a phone that works and it's cheap!

                  Thanks GSM arena for bringing this review, I've sent you an email asking for this phone which eventually I bought it for my wife.

                  It's a pretty decent phone for non demanding people, battery life is very good and performance is very dependable too

There... moreThe French sites all seem to agree that Xiaomi phones are just better value and Moto cannot compete. However, I switched from a Moto G Power to a Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. I'll concede that the Xiaomi performs better, especially with photos. But the software experience was sleeker on the Moto, with less battery drain. Given that I'm not a power user, I'll happily switch back to Moto, Nokia or Samsung in the future.

                          Don't get me wrong, both phones are quite decent but for me, software is very important and that's why I'm avoiding Xiaomi like the plague.

But Poco M3 pro's 1080p screen is just significantly superior to Moto G50's 720p screen and is also much brighter (500 nits vs 400 nits). Even software support is much better - M3 pro is guaranteed to get 2 major android updates and 3 years of security updates(Just like Redmi note 10 series as they are part of Android Enterprise Recommended Programme), whereas Moto G50 will only get one major update and 2 years of security updates. Both are similarly slow in updates though.

                                      GSMA should stop being so diplomatic with Moto's phones. Why would anyone pay 250 eur for this when they can just pay 170 eur to get Poco M3 Pro 5G, which is superior in virtually every single way.

                                        Anonymous, 18 Jul 2021SD 480 is not a midrange in 5G crowd It's the lowend 5GI think this chip is the biggest mis step that Qualcomm have made as it totally polarizes opinion and leaves people confused. Everyone who knows anything about Qualcomm chip naming understand 4xx are entry level, 6/7xx are mid/upper mid and 8xx are flagship level chips. So why make a 4xx chip that they then claim is more powerful than its 6xx chips? It makes no sense and even if the 480g is better than the 662/665 etc (which by all accounts it is) psychologically people will still see it as an entry level (read less powerful) SOC. This will hurt sales of phones that are possibly better than they are perceived because of their chipset.
                                        Having said that I do understand (just to complicate matters further) that this IS an entry level 5g chip not entry level 4g but I still think Qualcomm should simply add (5g) after the name of the chip to let people know which chips are 5g ready and which ones are 4g only. The mobile world seems to revel in odd and confusing naming schemes!? This is my take on this issue, what do others think about it? Peace ✌️
