I thinks that also the reason why Xiaomi is able to continue their business model on not having to pay the cost for their advertisements and commercials. Unlike Samsung and Bbk phones which are playing in youtube ads 1 out of 2 videos.

They used what ever is cheaper on the market to make their profit margin higher. I will not be surprised if they used the 800u or even the 720g on next year model

I cant for the life of me understand why are customers settling for inferior chips compared to just a few months back?
The Dimensity 700 is clearly slower than the 800U (if it wasn't already obvious from the naming where higher number=generally better). Last year/gen phones had 800U for around the same price and just bcoz 700 is the freshest chip they slapped it on for the same price??

Dimensity chipsets are quite expensive i guess!
