But also the Nubia Z20 and Vivo Nex Dual Screen.
What they should do is to keep going in this direction rather than the underdisplay camera that the Find X was supposed to have back then and only a single phone with awful quality ever got sold yet.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2021How is the OS? Does anyone have experience with this OS ?I am a follower of ZTEs . So i hope the price wll not be abnormal. I am waiting for it. The last zte phone was more advanced i used was smart7zte. I hope this will be better than that one.

There was a time when the design of a phone was copied from already Available one and now they are copying before even a phone comes out😂😂and it is not even a great design by any means

The best is to have a simple secondary display on the back, or to use something like this :

But foldable and integrated into the phone's case.
And in the future the best alternative will be to use the main sensors on the back for precise eye tracking and projecting the image directly into the eyes (this is called virtual retinal display), ass people don't realize it, but there is a market for screenless displays, and it is constantly growing.
Front privacy + regular good display + the superior main cameras for selfies + holograms + 3D face recognition with Iris scanning, the best combo!

For UD camera I thought about switchable transparent mirror that may allow to use transparent screen with mirror on for back illumination.

FarFan, 19 Jul 2021Both this designs will not work because under viewing angle... moreNot really, there are many potential fixes, one would be to use a collimated light from the secondary display that then get spread on the glass with polarized defraction, this would look perfectly as if it came from the display.
Though I prefer alternatives, I imagined one where the whole top session of the display would rotate inside the phone, behind it there would be multiple cameras, it would imply come flush with the rest of the display.
And considering that we can find OIS on cheap phones, this is a shame indeed, too many pricey phones lack it, probably only so more premium devices have an argument...
And indeed the Zenfone sadly lack many things, and one big flaw it has is that the flip up contain the Telephoto which is absolutely not needed in the front...

I really like the idea of asus flip, but it is with no OIS heavy beast with no comms like wireless charging, jack, memory extension, nor with a great screen

You, yes you, before you buy it just because of the underdisplay camera hype, let me remind you that the tech is far from mature (if it can ever be) and as yet has only drawbacks, so you might wait and see how it behaves before buying it only for this gimmick.
Spoiler alert : You'll be disappointed, because, "surprisingly", we can't see through opaque solid object and not get cons, who would have thought so? 🤣
If you want fulldisplay and no notch or hole, the Poco F2 Pro and Asus Zenfone 8 Flip aren't too old yet, there is also the Lenovo Legion 2, and the best thing to do is to advocate pop up, flip up, phones with no front camera (second display on the back or not), and the much better alternative to underdisplay camera called "disappearing camera".
