Based on this article, Realme could be in trouble for misleading marketing (in French: publicite mensongere).
The 19Gb really translates into 12Gb RAM & 7Gb swap. That's 2 fundamentally different things.

Make more = sell more; logic used by these chinese brands.
Instead of Make good = sell more.
On the software end, BBK and Xiaomi got some of the worst OS wrappers (with 1+ only prone to get worse with the new pigeonholing). It would make more sense to fix that BS first instead of shoveling a ton of unwanted models back to back.

This is beast if Realme has tweaked tge camera to full potential. OP9P couldn't do it. With merger of Oppo and OP, I have lost hopes for future improvements as well.

You might argue that more RAM is needed for future proofing, but honestly, what breaks this argument is that, some RAM of it is "virtual".
Means, a part of Flash memory is used as RAM, correct me if I'm wrong.
Clearly, this flash memory is not as fast as RAM can be. Plus, very often this flash memory is not as reliable for 24x7 accessing as RAM (normal memory cards have only 1 year warranty if used in CCTV cameras, but 10 yrs warranty otherwise).
In the end, it might mean a device which can run a lot of apps at once, but slower & less reliably, towards the end of its capacity.
Again the bigger question is, even for future proofing, is it needed? And is it ethical marketing to show 19GB RAM, including virtual memory with main one?

This is what I hate the Chinese bullshit.
So, my old laptop has 100GB of RAM then, of which 96GB is virtual RAM, how does that sound?
