Instead of a 8MP UW and a 2MP whatever-sensor, they should just put a decent 12-13MP WU with the money saved by ditching the useless 2MP whatever-sensor.
Also, use the remaining space for a, I don't know, 3,5mm jack? Or a bigger battery? Or better haptics?

This phone looks amazing on paper. If the price starts from 350-360 euros, then they'll have an absolute winner on their hands.
The first Nord was an overhyped disappointment but hopefully, they get it right this time.

The Poco F3 and Realme GT stole the spot OnePlus had in 2014-2018, this Nord 2 is looking promising though, but I prefer Snapdragons.

I like that it looks like a OnePlus 9. And the fact that it has a powerful chipset makes it closer to what OnePlus was in the early days, than any other phone in the last few years from them. It’s a Mediatek but at least in Benchmarks, it scores close to a Snapdragon 865 compared to the predecessor scoring like the 835. that is a 3 generation jump in performance

Mediatek SoCs have very poor post-processing in photography unlike Qualcomm.
Adding "AI" in this custom 1200 Dimensity chip is a proof itself that Mediatek never ever worried about photography segment... they care only about speed and performance unlike Qualcomm who improves every element on their chips (WiFi, Bluetooth, audio, ...etc) each year !!!
