    Phone makers logic :
    Let's make a phone with a great display, put awesome cameras on it.
    And ruin everything with the stupid curved edge displays and the shitty quality underdisplay camera that a pop up could perfectly replace and proved to be better already.

                  Suddenly, the cameras are:

                  1. 108 MP Isocell HM2 with no OIS main cam
                  2. 8 MP Ultrawide with no AF
                  3. 2 MP Macro
                  4. 2 MP depth sensor

                  And then, boom, the useless cameras are just used for aesthetics

                    Anonymous, 20 Jul 2021Honor is now the new Huawei.Not really though at the moment at least. They don't have their own chips, 5g modems and ISPs which is what made Huawei different from all the other Chinese brands. After the split they don't really have any differentiation from other Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, all of which have little of their own technology. Maybe in the future if they get larger and have more money to invest as most of their original R&D team remained with them
