Just because they don't really want to be bothered. Just put you pink glasses of Sony's blind love and look properly what Xperia 1 III is offering for $1300 (~$1700 in most countries where Sony doesn't sell phones). Cool ProCamera app with rather pathetic outcome, outdated by modern flagship camera-phones standard main camera sensor, average battery life, 3.5mm hole in the case and microSD card slot which nobody really need in 2021 (perhaps, apart from you), overkill 4k screen, useless in most situation 21x9 aspect ratio etc.

But it has headphone jack i guess...

Seriously SONY just give people more updates to justify the cost of your phone. How difficult is it to give a software update when the lowest setting has been set by Pixel 5 and that itself gets more Android Software update than yours???
Also think about it if your phone is unable to sell now due to the higher price by the following year if you sell at 50% RRP people will still buy them if you provide better software support.

Why talk about the history of Xperia and every flaw, it's not even relevant to this 1 iii article about how someone made fake news and every news site did zero fact checking or didn't even bother to market it as a rumor.

We dont have to argue which great best or excellent, at the end of the world no one will give our request...unless we paid them and create a special one.
Maybe you have phone there and give me one cause im really want to try one but its expensive for me...

Learn about a service before com... moreand how about to write all your replies in one comment ? spamming whole commentaries with your fake agenda against Sony wont make a difference.. and i'm here to demand you.. i have Sony Xperia M4 Aqua from 2015, still works, never had motherboard issues, nor the screen cracked.. after 6 years, the battery is weak which is normal, and after i dropped it on the ground the wi-fi doesn't work which is my fault actually, and even then the screen didn't cracked
