Launch the 16GB version in India for around Rs 20-23000 and I am on it the first day. Seems waiting for the Nexus 4 instead of purchasing Galaxy Nexus from "grey market" is going fruitful. Hope they release it in India unlike the Galaxy Nexus though I do have a bad experience with LG battery backup.

I wonder if LG releases the optimus g in europe if it will get a better treatment that its previous models (updates on time :P). Since optimus g is similar to lg nexus I believe it to be very reasonable that it will get updates just a few weeks after the lg nexus. This remains to be seen by how lg plays this out. If they release optimus g in europe at a reasonable price and give a somewhat good update schedule for it then I just might switch to that instead of the nexus 4. Though I doubt that will happen knowing lg's history with updates. Probably when key lime pie is released on nexus devices the optimus g will receive 4.1 jelly bean even though they stated they would update it soon.

thz gonna eat optimus G's market... since its a nexus phone thus will get every OS update from google while optimus G, a total LG phone which has a history of non producing new OS updates at all will stuck on a single platform... also its much cheaper than optimus G with all same specs, only the internal memory is low but who cares, 16 gb is enough for me...

Most of the world has no LTE, and 16GB is more than enough for most users, this the deal of the century, $350 unlocked for a Nexus with those specs, good stuff

BadLoser, 29 Oct 2012So...
No SD card
No removable battery
No LTE
Max 16 G... moreIndeed. Look what they did with the Optimus 4X HD. All the features we want but lack of sufficient power to beat the competition.
Now they release the Optimus G and new Nexus 4, both packing quite a punch as proved by the benchmarks but they stripped them both of the features we like in a phone.
MicroSD and removable (or at least accessible) battery.
Can't say these two things often enough lately.

BadLoser, 29 Oct 2012So... No SD card No removable battery No LTE Max 16 G... moreNexus phones aren't made for their hardware specs..Although 2gb's of RAM and a QuadCore S4 Pro processor puts it at the top of the game...especially with the best screen available yet in the IPS+, this will put any retina display look like a disposable. And you must not know anything about any nexus phones, because will have nothing to do with the phone except to actually make it. But all software support will come directly from Google. Which means that this phone will always be the first to receive software updates. And the only reason why it won't ship with KLP, is because it just way too early. Jellybean is still fairly new, and its definitely still at the top of the game.
