So sad it can only have 5G with T-Mobile, because AT&T has better coverage in my area. I hope they can release edge 20 earlier so I can make a choice if there is any model with LCD in edge 20 series, otherwise I may have to buy a G100 for now and wait another 5G phone.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2021Xiaomi supports their phones for 3 years minimum.Speak for yourself, Xiaomi only support their MIUI. Do you know how many pre-2021 Xiaomi phones that get Android 11 OS update? Less than 20*.

GrandCentral, 23 Jul 2021Flash forward to two years from now when all the people who... moreXiaomi supports their phones for 3 years minimum.

Reminder to all, Poco phones can't be used in the US due to lack of band support and Realme will only be used (barely) with 3 4G bands (missing like 4-6 of them for optimal reception) and 1 5G band which is only used for T-Mobile.

Hence why I wish these phones would enable all bands for traveling folks. As I've said before, LG's departure sucked for America as our choices for flagships are limited to Apple, upcoming Pixels, Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, ROG, and this Motorola that was band 71 and stereo speakers away from being...well...solid.

Midrangers? Samsung, Pixel, TCL, Motorola, and Sony. That's it.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2021Poco f3 is a MUCH better choiceOther people mentioned enough reasons why this is not true.

But F3 is a waste of money, at least in my country where the F2 Pro is just €28 more expensive and much better than the F3.

            The irony

The Android Freak, 23 Jul 2021Even if it comes, price is too goddamn high for what it is ... moreYeah, unless they offer it for a lot cheaper in India than in other global markets. In China it is the currently the cheapest (branded as the edge s) snapdragon 870 phone at 1,899rmb(the equivalent of around US$295 which makes it cheaper than the Redmi k40 and iqoo neo 5 lite). Definitely quite attractive at that price. They would have to sell it at a more competitive price in India if they did decide to release it there

You are buying a phone (a smart one at that), so the quality of software is a key consideration while buying a phone.

Quality of software in Moto phones is WAY ahead of ANY other Chinese OEM phones, so no proper comparison can be made between Moto phones and other Chinese OEM phones because software quality simply sucks in almost ALL of them when compared to Moto which is excellent.

YUKI93, 23 Jul 2021$599.99? That is $200 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S21 w... moreSnapdragon 870 and 888. There is difference. Samsung S21 uses Amoled panel whereas this uses IPS LCD panel. This should cost 400USD at the most. At 500USD you can get Realme GT which is far better option than this in terms of everything. At 500USD, Moto should release 256GB variant of the same phone. They are charging 599 for this phone, which is not so great value for money. One Plus 8T at 500USD for 256GB through offers is better option than this phone, atleast One Plus will provide great updates.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2021Man they should release the phone in India ASAPEven if it comes, price is too goddamn high for what it is offering. Moto won't even support this phone for two years. So price is not worthy.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2021Man they should release the phone in India ASAPThis won't be coming to India. There are another two phones coming to India with snapdragon 870 and 778G respectively. Wait for those.

$599.99? That is $200 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S21 with the same 128GB internal storage and it has a microSD card support and a headphone jack alongside a front ultrawide camera and DeX-rivalling Desktop Mode. Looks like I can forget the Samsung.

What is strange is that after this relatively premium phone would lack band 71, which is important for T-Mobile, while it has been consistently present in other Moto G phones in the US market for many years. It has been a distinguishing characteristic compared to many other budget phones.
