Not everyone need a top of the range tablet. There are some of us that need an affordable midranger or a smaller 8.7 inch model with midrange chipset.

AirY, 24 Jul 2021D1300T in reply of SD 895? 😯Nope. This 1300T is supposed to beat the Snapdragons 865/865+/870.

A single X1 core is already causing problems to Qualcomm and their Snapdragon 888, so why double the trouble? Just to achieve a high score on benchmark tests and then have an absolutely awful user experience due to instability issues?

AirY, 24 Jul 2021D1300T in reply of SD 895? 😯Probably not.
895's competitor will be released in 2021Q4 or 2022Q1 and will use TSMC's 4nm

But then... how about 2 Prime Cores instead of 1 if is for Tablets.
And then the Dimensity 1300 (non T) becomes official to be the "refresh" of the 1200? Having more G78 GPU cores and just 1 Prime Core?

Hopefully it has 6 and 8 GB of Ram, 128, 256 of internal storage with the possibility of adding a micro SD Card, audio Jack, with desktop mode for productivity, with Oled screen, 11 inches, at least four audio speakers, all priced at no more than $ 500.

How I imagine 1300T :
- still cortex A78 but pushed to 3.3ghz (no X1, Mediatek isn't a part of this problem...hmmm sorry, of this programme)
- bigger cache
- 4xLPDDR5 (as D900 start using 2xLPDDR5, it seems logical)
- G78 instead G77 (as D900 start using G68, G78 is from same gen)...maybe a few more cores to fit with extra bandwidth due to LPDDR5)

Of course in tablet it can be easier to keep it cool...
But it's Dimensity...a soc for smartphone.
Not Kompanio, the New Line for tablet/chromebook
When Mediatek know something doesn't work, Mediatek doesn't release (A57 on SD810 or X1 on SD888)
D1300 will more probably use A78 @ maybe 3.2ghz, maybe with some improvements on cache...
And will probably replace G77 with G78 (same gen as G68 on D900), add LPDDR5 support (quad Channel, D900 already use dual Channel LPDDR5)
It's maybe a quarter too early for ARM v9 too

Also adding 3 GPU cores might help them too.

The Android Freak, 23 Jul 2021Because Kirin is down. Mediatek is shit and will remain shi... moreIt's not Dimensity that divides framerates by 2 or 3 when you play Genshin Impact during 10 minutes !
It's Snapdragon 888! On Xperia 1III or Galaxy S21 (SD version).
Still your Snapdragon are all obsoletes for streaming...no AV1 hardware decoding!
You're on all articles about Dimensity to troll! You're ridiculous!
If you're not interrested in Dimensity...just stay away! And change your pseudo to Qualcomm Freak instead!
Your behavior let me think about a couple of Apple users (not all, only the ones who critisize on forums about Android)
