Jatin18, 24 Jul 2021iphones are waste of money. No charger given, no in display... moreWriten like true someone who never even seen an iPhone in person... You just look at the specs sheet and declare it's useless. Sigh. People who use iPhone don't care if it has a notch because it has a FaceID. Saying it's "same old FaceID" is also a funny statement. It's facial recognition is so far ahead of all others it doesn't need change. And then everyone makes huge drama about it with muh masks. It's a minor issue. Removing chargers was a dumb decision, but surely you have a charger of some sort at home. Saying they are too expensive is also silly and ignorant statement, usually done by people who only know to look at specs sheets and be smart about it. When you take 5 years of major upgrades and 2 extra years of security updates, they suddenly aren't "expensive". Support for so long costs and it's something 99% of Android phone makers doesn't do. They give you 2 years and then cut the support and leave you on your own. And I can already see people typing in anger how updates are not really updates and how features are 10 years late. Heh, no one cares. Use an iPhone for a full year and stop reading specs sheets and you'll understand. Until then, explaining almost anything to iPhone haters is like talking to a brick wall.

hmm, 24 Jul 2021What do you think contract to 2-3 years is with the 60 buck... moreBoth are different man. Lease even though a contract, is basically renting. Phone contracts are like loans or EMIs where at the end you get to keep the phone, whereas if it was a lease, at the end you do not get to keep the phone.
That's what caused the bigger confusion.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2021Yes same I was also confused. Perhaps he meant to say contr... moreWell lease and leash isn't that different . Both can be understand as roping your self.
Your leashed to a company with a contract as you dont really own the phone for the time your under a contract as you need to pay the lease for the phone total money to have it as your own

Rkm, 24 Jul 2021Oh, that make sense. I was totally confused when he replied... moreWhat do you think contract to 2-3 years is with the 60 bucks every month when you get the phone for no pay in ? You lease the phone under contract for the 24-36 months paying that 60 buck a month. that has probably 2/3 of it for the phone lease

iphones are waste of money. No charger given, no in display finger print scanner, using same old facelock & old notch. Nothing new in past few years. low capacity battery. and they say they believe in innovation. not providing chargers with phone and ppl are forced to buy new chargers. no wonder why ppl have started hating iphones. and above all most expensive.

"MyDrivers notes that the 18W charger is no longer available from Apple, and that a 25W charger would cost slightly more than Apple’s 20W charger, which currently retails in the US for $19.99."
Lol really, Apple? I see a lot of reputable third-party charger with faster charging rate and more ports for less money than Apple's own charger.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2021Leash ? Or did you mean to say lease instead Oh, that make sense. I was totally confused when he replied to me. I associate lease to bigger stuff like cars, houses etc and contract to phones. Didn't know you could lease phones.

With their consistently low capacities in their batteries, Apple will always sell their gimmicks - super fast charging. It will only take 1Hr from 0 to hero. Yeah, at 25W with a 3500mAh battery. iPhone's are actually landlines because they're always connected to the wall!!!!

25watt is enough considering the smaller batteries, healthier for the battery too.
But I am sure someone will call me out for that, I have a LG G8S with a 18watt charger and even that is enough for those who wonder.
Charging from 5% to 100% in 1.5 hour would probably "kill" most people from boredom here, most would call 18watt "unacceptable'.
Anyhow was a matter of time for apple, even Samsung started to provide faster charging lately.

Rkm, 24 Jul 2021Just look at the list. Some of them are as expensive as or ... moreApple users leash there phone for 2-3 years and they brag like they are rich that android users cant afford to buy. Well Android people also leash there top end samsung and sony phones for same time period. If you leash the phone then you cant afford the phone anyways so why say that you cant afford something. Most of them dont have that 1300-1400 for apple 12 pro max to buy out on day one. Well they probably have them lower price like 999 but still they cant afford to buy it out and will be under contract with minimum 2 years

[deleted post]Most of the apple users cant afford to buy out at the day they buy the new phone. They still buy it with contract of 2-3 years and then pay monthly 60 buck on leashing it. I for one buy up to 250 euro phones just cause i can buy them out. Never mind that i get all the premium features like AMOLED 120hz screen in fullhd and so on with them. For my needs i dont need flagship grade camera or cpu that will not give me any edge in anything if they dont find any use. I can buy Poco x3 Pro for 230 euro even tough it is only LCD screen but still 120hz and is overclocked SD855+ in it that was a flagship year or 2 a go. While it still have 33W charger and it will be in the box with the phone. It also have like 2 times the size of the battery then any of the Apple phones have and all of that for 230 euro. For that money you cant get even used Iphone 8 in my country as that will cost 300 euro and have 1 year of updates left while iphone 7 new still cost 350 euro that dont have much of any updates left. With poco x3 pro i get 2 years of updates and it will be powerful enough to last me for 5 years before i need to change it cause it will be slow or something. And who cares about 5G if 4G have speeds more then enough. It's not like mobile data is used a lot when you go from wifi spot to wifi spot either home or work.
