JAZZ, 30 Oct 2012wat do you need all that power for? its samsung.. dont you ... moreand you are the expert on what again?
Samsung bring out new features on their flagship phones that make them more desirable and unique, compared to other brands. Nokia and Apple are falling behind because of that. I-Phones, as good as they are, build quality, performance and stability wise, are "boring" phones. they don't offer unique features that capture the imaginations and attention of consumers. Don't even talk about Nokia...So they have amazing camera phones, with boring, stale OS'es. Windows 8...looks good, nice to use, but still behind on OS features and useability. Bring the Power Samsung, and hopefully some amazing features to go with it. If utilized properly, all that power and performance can run some truly great features and functions...

Will certainly be cool to rock with a quad A15 CPU. Battery drain will be a problem, but hey without the urge there wont be any innovation. Next gen Samsung vs iPhone is gonna rock the earth.

Do we really need this? Snapdragon S4 and Exynos 4412 are already performing perfectly? If you make a more powerful chipset only to have the most powerful chipset on the market, is wrong. Like gsmarena said in this review, the battery will drain almost instantly, in 1 or 2 hours. Then who cares if you have the most powerful chipset, if you have to put your device on charge 4 or 5 times in a day? What Snapdragon S4 and Exynos 4412 offer are the best in terms of usability for some years. If you wanna put that Cortex-A15 in a device with less than 10 mm of thickness, you won't have much battery life. But if you want battery life, but you still want this chipset, then you will have a bulky phone, similar to the first mobile phone back in the '60. People should know when it's time to stop making phones better on all areas, because they will only make them worse than they are.
Things that should remain unchanged in future mobile phones are the battery dimensions and performance, devices' thickness, but they can make the rest of the features in a way that surprise us, but only by not modifying the most important things on a mobile phone: thickness and battery life.

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2012Why do you need all that speed for? They should focus more ... morewat do you need all that power for? its samsung.. dont you know? samsung has no skill. they just stuff the fastest stuff into a phone and call it "superior"
... they have nothing better to do. unlike nokia and apple who take the time to create a few good phones and update thier OWN operating systems, samsung just does hardware.
what else do you expect? the least they coud do is work on creating what is known as a "SEXY" phone. But no. they dont even have the brains to do that. Cheap flimsy plastic with garbage unoptimized cameras and bluish-screens are what they are all about.

Why do you need all that speed for? They should focus more on making power-efficient cpu instead. the batteries are getting bigger and bigger!
