Because A52 5G is a bit better than the basic A52: better processor, better camera, 120 hz screen (vs 90 hz in A52).

I hope in three main changes against regular A52, apart from the SOC: reduced size to 155x72mm, better camera software management and setup (no macro and depth but only one tele 70mm), USB 3.1. Of course, at the right price, considering the recent competitors, 400€ should be right.

YUKI93, 26 Jul 2021Lol, not with that Exynos 990 chipset that most countries i... morelol yeah, i agree. i had a s20 and the exynos 990 is completely ruined the overall experience it's get so hot even for a video calling with whatsapp, what's the point of excellent display, nice cameras, if i can't use it for long just because the overheat, not only uncomfortable to hold it also makes the battery drain faster. i sold mine and never regret.

If Samsung can give DeX capability for this phone, that will be the ultimate bargain of the century. The upper midrange SD 700 series chipset has already proven to be more than capable of running a desktop PC environment from a smartphone. The LG Velvet 5G* and the TCL 20 Pro 5G** is a case in point.

The way they cut down Galaxy A52 5G just to fit in that 5G was really silly. The 5G is inferior to regular model in every way except the 5G modem. Who cares about 5G that much to ignore everything else? I'd just stick with 4G/LTE any time.
