I agree that it is not super necessary but it is a nice touch.

They throw two low power UV leds inside that cost probably less than 10cents just to advertise it as super clean... when in reality they will be in the same state as any other earbuds: covered in wax and sweat...
    Unless of course someone like to put earbuds in their mouth... then its ok -_-

          Is this UV cleaning actually necessary? Usually the issue is ear wax clogging things, not the bacterias on them. Unless you're really sharing them with people, but that's usually not the case.
