Why no more premium 8 inch Androids tabs?

    I got the tab s7 11in instead of waiting. It has a great screen, battery life is amazing, and great for media consumption. The upgrades for the upcoming s8 models, don't seem worth waiting for and paying more money for.

      So like the Tab S7 and Tab S7+, all variants will have 120Hz HRR but the base vanilla variant has an LCD screen whereas both middle and top variants have an OLED screen. Apart from battery capacity, maybe one notable difference between the three will be the S Pen latency.

        Why are they so costly though. S7fe costs the same as ipad air 4th gen where I live.

                      As far as I see there isn't any point to wait for the tab s8/s8+. There doesn't seem to be any upgrade except a improved chip and 1 more year of software updates. I think i will just wait for black Friday and buy a tab s7+. At the end we don't know much about the specs so i will wait a few more months.

                        I want to see the new exymos chip and camera improvements on the Ultra. Nothing else. Bcuz Exynos 2100 slightly dissapointed me. Because of all their launch and hype, Exynos is just on par with snapdragon. And exynos is just lucky this year cuz snapdragon 888 are having overheating issues and battery drain issues so battery and heat are similar on both, so which means that exynos 2100 is still an overheating and draining beast even though it is as powerful as the Snapdragon 888 this time. Best 5nm chip is still Kirin 9000, it has none of the battery drain, overheating, or even the throttling issues of the A14

                            Hopefully S7+ price drops by then. There isn't a lot of variety in 12+ inch tablet selection in the market to choose from and the ones that are available are quite pricey.
