Anything that does exceed it is overpriced. Nothing but absurd profit margins bring prices that high. It's why Apple has become so filthy rich despite not having the sales to justify it. And why are you even bringing up flagships when this is low end trash that can't even begin to be compared?

Samsung Galaxy X Cover Pro basically a decently rugged phone with low tier mid range specs. I dont understand why rugged phones can never get a modern processor why I miss Samsung Galaxy Active Line more than anything. Especially having physical buttons at time when virtual buttons were starting to be norm even for being garbage most the time when it came to ease of use/tactile even with thick gloves.

Recently bought the Motorola GStylus 2021 and I have been very disappointed not just in the overall function of the phone but the overall rating of the phone received and has been nothing but trouble so I will probably not be purchasing any Motorola product in the future sorry Motorola

So basically they're taking a dirt cheap phone, marketing it as rugged, and pricing it at 4x what it should be.

This phone is not the X Force, and thus it can not be compared to that phone. I know because I have two XT1580 phones and they are still working but this Defy will nowhere be as good since it is not really built by moto but is just a rebranded product manufactured by some other company

It's a gimmick to game on phones since graphics are nowhere as good as consoles, but gaming phones are pretty good these days. For those who game on the go they offer great gamer centric features. Competitive mobile gaming is growing pretty fast though, so I think mobile gaming could be the future. Consoles and PCs are still irreplaceable but there is a lot of potential for mobile gaming perhaps

This is not a phone for gamers or other gimmicks, and considering it has a clean Android, it should work very smooth. This phone is for people who want a peace of mind with construction, without worrying if they drop the phone, or use it on a rainy day. Nobody is forcing you to buy it.

Most rugged phones carry the features mentioned in this phone and they do last a long time and survive tough conditions.
I used the Moto X Force was and it was built to withstand fall down from 1.8 meters. However, in reality it survives drops from more heights than what advertised by the company.

I would love to see Moto out another Force phone this year or maybe in 2022 or Nokia making a decent android phone in that beautiful unibody Lumia design. All plastic body is fine as long as they do it right just the way Nokia did back then
