Is “good” good enough?

All these people hating phones for practically no reason. They will surely be great devices and no one is forcing you to buy anything.

YUKI93, 29 Jul 2021Lol, as the previous comment below you said, Windows Phone ... moreSo true, I had been daily driving my Lenovo Z2 Plus for almost 4 years until 2 days back when I finally upgraded to the X7 Max.
My Z2+ had been running Android 7.0 w/ March'17 patch all this while, and if I could get a genuine new battery and a proper glass replacement for the front & back (not the crappy glass that shatters and chips away at the slightest drop), I'd still happily continue using it!
But since I couldn't get a genuine battery and the 3rd party one which I bought (it looked legit) from amazon swelled up in about 3-4 months and when it also started losing charge quickly like my original battery, I swapped it out.

It is the same story with Symbian, there's even a real community update to that mobile OS. Even most Android phones have long stopped official software support and yet people still don't see the need to upgrade to a newer one. For me, if it's not broken, don't fix it. And when it comes to Android, there's always the custom ROM community that always try to breathe in another new life of the phone.

YUKI93, 29 Jul 2021Lol, why would I need to joke about my own personal experie... moreWhy? It's a dead end brand. Discontinued and everything LG branded on the phones will gradually shut down and stop working over the next few months. A phone launched last year is definitely a dumb idea to pay money for, as it's double DOA, considering it's LG.

YUKI93, 29 Jul 2021Lol, why would I need to joke about my own personal experie... moreGreat to see someone talking with real common sense here. I can definitely vouch that with my current daily-driving V60. I was actually very nearly decided to buy a brand new Samsung Galaxy S20 until I came across the V60. Not only it cost $200 than the S20, I still got the headphone jack and THE BEST audio quality on a smartphone. So I ended up buying the V60 and spend an extra $100 for its DualScreen case and I'm totally loving it to this day. The V60, in my book, is a half-price S20 Ultra with added dual display practicality.

AnonD-762416, 28 Jul 2021lol ...Wait? Tell me you're joking. You're jo... moreLol, why would I need to joke about my own personal experience? After a few months of using the Galaxy Fold, I found all the overhyped features to be cumbersome. Not only it's heavy, but I have to deal with it all the time and it's too big to fit inside my pants even with large pockets. I kept using it for a while because it was telco-locked until I came across the LG V50. I never owned an LG smartphone in my whole life and only started to know them since that V50 release but its detachable DualScreen case had completely won me over, so I immediately returned the Galaxy Fold and bought the V50 and its DualScreen case. I absolutely never regret that decision at all. It is one of the best investments I made for a smartphone and I am absolutely loving it. I even remembered seeing the crease from the Galaxy Fold's inner screen when I returned it and I definitely don't want to see such a thing ever again. Since then, I don't buy smartphones because of hype and popularity. I buy smartphones because of real-world practicality and the V50 never fails me even once.

P.S The V50's Quad DAC audio made me completely stopped embracing wireless Bluetooth audio altogether, but that's another story for another day.
