    Huawei is gonna use 4G version with 888 because this is what they are allowed to buy.
    Qualcomm is forbidden to sell 888 5G to them.
    The 5G version is gonna have same kirin used by Mate 40 series.

      1) not saying 8K from phone is useful. But from 8K you can downscale to 4K, this gives better quality than native 4K. Many 📷 do it, record 4K downscaled from 6K. Also you can use wider angle lens and crop to have 4K while using EIS, the more you crop the more effective is the EIS. For video EIS is useful, OIS is not. The shoulder 🎥 do not use OIS.

      2) about the softness of 4K@60 frequently seen on phones, means texture quality is inferior compared to 4K@30. When the shutter speed remains same and you more frames, each frame has 1/2 the time to grab light. This is why quality is worse, even more at night compared to 30fps. The 960fps was example to show that as you add frames without possibility to control shutter speed, the quality goes down. This is real super slowmo, not fake interpolation used by chinese phones in the past .

      ** going from hi res to low res was exactly the trick used by Nokia 808. You turn the 38MP into 5MP. Photo remains with same amount of details, but size file is same of native 5MP photo. Yeah, there was no binning there. This later was copied by sony using 8MP on Z series.

By combining images from multiple cameras, one can achieve less noisy images. I haven't seen a smartphone where the monochrome camera led to significantly better 1.0x results, the issue is that two cameras have a different perspective. Furthermore, two cameras have more read noise than one camera.
                    A monochrome camera would be most helpful for Astrophotography. Some smartphones are able to capture the Andromeda galaxy, but they currently aren't really able to capture color from the Andromeda galaxy (too noisy), so a monochrome camera would have no disadvantage.

                          If there's no 5G version, no reason to get this over Mate 40 who has the same chipi but with 5G as well.

                                      Can I get a P50 pro+ 5G

                                        At first I was like monochrome? Bruh that's gimmick. But then I read the comments and then I was like ohh so it's not gimmicky and actually very useful. I'm so sad that no periscope tho. And 3.5x zoom isn't bad either like decently zoomed without going like very zoomed in. Tho 64mp cam on tele srsly huawei? I didn't expect that from u. Well I guess quality of photo will be good since its huawei u know.
