I am a mobile dealer,I request all mobile handset manufacturing cos to make Bar handsets, because 50+ people do not like to use touch/qwerty hand sets.Handsets like E51,E52,C5,SAMSUNG PRIMO,these were the handsets which were liked by many people.

I own two smartphones since a couple of years ago, all I can say is that even if they have advantages and lots of utilities, most of them are futile most of the times. I need a very-long-life battery phone, very basic access to internet, basic email capabilities, and twitter just for entertainment and information.
Smartphones have two big disadvantages imo:
1. Battery life is laughable.
2. They catch too much attention from the user, and I have the impression I am losing some other important real activities and information around me!
I'll get this little one.

Anywhere in the world, there are people who just want to call and text. There are occasions and places where people want to park their smartphones at home and just carry along something which is easy to use, relatively more rugged, and isn't a hot item for thieves. It's also perfect for your second(/third) phone lines. In this area, Nokia S40 phones have a long track record for reliability and stability. Something cheap, unbranded phones will never take from Nokia.

some times ago Nokia phones were the symbol of power, beauty, duration and class now Chinese people ruined and collapsed every things that Nokia made!!!!

It makes phonecalls. That's all that some people want. 30 days per charge. Good on nokia for still making these. Not everyone wants to tweet what the ate for breakfast.

i have a smart phone. an android. but i still prefer these kinds of phone, with keypad. in fact, i use my old nokia 6120c, more to call and text. my android mostly for ym, fb amd youtube.

y do u guys keep saying this phone is for 3rd world countries, In Nigeria a lot of people use smart phones that are expensive and still have a stand by phone as this cheap one. and in the united states a lot of people still love dis kind of small and cheap phones cos of their durability and long battery life.
I wonder when people keep saying its for 3rd world countries
