I have the original Galaxy watch (46 mm) and I only have to charge every 4-6 days. I only have bluetooth on (no wifi). I use GPS fairly frequently for walks/hikes (every 1 - 2 days). I was on a 4 day 3 night camping trip recently using GPS every day (55,000 steps) and my watch was at 20% at end of trip. I did not get the Watch3 because it was same processor and smaller battery. Excited that I waited for Watch4. Better specs all around and larger battery than Watch3 (though smaller than original). it is being reported that battery time is up to 7 days :)

I have watch active 2 40mm.
Thinking about the upgrade to this one but the battery would be longer than 10 days.
Mine is 5 days, if i always turn the bluetooth on and heart rate continously rates then 2 or 1.5 days.

Have the last 1 less than 2 years old. Just lasts 1 day between charging so it sits on charger overnight so waste of time buying for sleep function. Been sent back to Samsung then tested it and found no fault but surprise it for a short time lasted 3 full days between charging. Would not buy again waste of $520

I wear the watch all day long and track my sleep every night.
1 charge lasts me just short of two days.

Not even for a day could I track my sleep !!
Entire night it used to sit on the charger.
When I went for endurance cycling the battery used to die after 3hrs. So by the time I would finish 100kms I had to forget about recording my ride via watch and had to turn on Strava on mobile (minus the HR).
Thank God the watch motherboard died after one single rain exposure!!! It gave me proof that it is NOT water proof and also it died within 2 years from date of purchase. Repair cost is 9000 INR.
Stay away from Samsung watch!!!!

I just drop my Apple Watch 5 on charger every morning as I'm getting ready for work and it's charged to 80% in time I have to go. Not being able to charge on Qi chargers is annoyance and is stupid limitation though. Probably has to do something with size of Qi pad coils or something. as they'd be way past the watch and very small inner part would actually connect with tiny watch's coil.

Useless, battery life is bad, to charge your watch every day is not practical and is even worse because you can't charge using
phone wireless charger

As a happy GW3(41mm), I'm kinda psyched. I love my GW3, but the new processor and some "maybe" ( Body Composition), looks great.
Aww nuts, I'm gonna need a new Samsung Phone as well....😔

I bought the watch3 *because* of the mechanical dial. it was outsourced by IWC Schaffenhause! (do not check the prices of their watches)

Not sure why Samsung needs to include an internal dial ring. It wastes space, it's redundant and stupid. They really need to work on modernizing their designs ie bezel-less designs, just like the cellphones.
