True compact phones do not exceed that length but those phones are almost all extinct today in the Android world. All there is to find, are just relatively compact phones that are introduced as small but they aren't really. Only the iPhone 12 mini is a true compact phone. It's a shame it runs on iOS, and I only use Android or I would have perhaps bought it surely

Dxomark boost whoever pay them more than the other. Just look at them posting P50 Pro on the top of the list with a prototype firmware that they received 7 weeks ago. They tend to artificially boost some Chinese brands instead of others such as Huawei, OnePlus and Xiaomi (in that order)

All phones that are longer then 140mm are not compact phones. You cant even compare it to iphone mini. You compare it with iphone 12 and even that is 1.3mm shorter then Zenfone 8 and have 0.2 inch bigger screen in it. but these are the two that are close to the size of the phone and iphone 12 is not in compact phone category.

When I read the title I was like "no way" at first, but then saw an embarrassing performance of S21 which was included in the article for a comparison purpose.. yeah it sort of makes sense now.

Dxomark isn't always reliable but in this case I'm not suprised by the results. A phone with a Sony camera sensor and good camera software beating a flagship phone with okay camera software and a Samsung sensor (which aren't exactly the best)
