I bought the Galaxy watch 4 because of articles like this. Lies about Google assistant support. Now three months of owning this watch the chances of Google assistant support seem to be fading by the day.

don't get your hopes high, Samsung will do something to block GAssistant or most of its features somehow, otherwise not one person will use their services and they won't be happy.

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2021More tracking?? Who wants that? Agreed but, so many seem to rant about assistant in wear os. I hope they support some open source options. One can build there own instance and if you have an old rtx 1080 or better you can get some interesting performance boost hosting everything at home.

Good. I'll never complain about more features, only when they remove them. Bixby is good for some things, Google Assistant for others. When Google or Bixby can do everything, only then remove one of them.

Google is a US based entity and clearly in the business of collecting and *selling* your data. To whom you absolutely don't know. Why would they collect if not for selling, or whatever?

I want not a single Google app on my smartwatch. No Play store, no assistant, no Google pay, nothing. My Watch 3 with Tizen is running fine, i don't need all that Google's spyware. Too bad Samsung, you made a really wrong choice.
