The low sales are because Galaxy S21 ... moreNot only that , in us you get all goodies like wireless earbuds for pre-booking and carrier subsidies for buying a phone and contracts,and the phones drops to less than half rate during black Fridays or a year later
In India it doesn't happen, it almost costs half money as an entry level suzuki car, and insanely overpriced., Almost 20 percent more than us proceed in a country which is 30 times less gdp than us.

I just bought ROG5 to replace my S10. Long time galaxy user, S2 to S6, Note 5, Note 9, S8 and S10. I don't want Samsung anymore, their phone became too expensive with limited features. No charger? U must be kidding, No headphone jack? "Fast" Charging?

I think that happens because people keep their phones longer, im a perfect example of that I used my Galaxy S8 Plus for moore than 3 years! because it just works fine I finally changed it this month because the batterie.....I have to charge the phone 3 times a day! so I change to the Galaxy S20 Plus 5, now it lasts 2 full days :-)
and small details I was hable to find the S21 Plus 5g at the smae price of the S20 but i chose the S20 because it have a SD Card slot

It shipping with Exynos isn't helping the matter either.

I upgraded to the Galaxy S21 plus. Was on iOS for a around a decade.
Now I think, why didn't I switch earlier...🤔

iPhone 12 has a much smaller battery at just 2800 mah. S21 has 4000 mah with slightly faster charging speed and also reverse charging to charge sound buds
The display on the iPhone 12 is just 60 hz while S21 has 120 hz with even higher peak brightness and also an always on display
Even the RAM and storage is double on base variant of S21 while iPhone 12 has just a paltry 64 GB with 4 GB RAM for a 2021 flagship
S21 and iPhone 12 both have 12 MP cameras with one with OIS. But the Samsung has a third 64 MP camera as well, also with OIS. S21 also has 8K recording
There's an under display fingerprint scanner on S21 while apple has the old face id that's not of any use during the pandemic
Samsung also has FM radio and Dex support which not everyone may use but they're important to some users
S21 even has a dual SIM function while iPhone will always have one for what dam reason (except China. Apple is clearly being biased by giving the dual SIM just there)
So yes, iPhone 12 is NOT better than even the base S21, not even close to equal. The performance is better on S21 also the battery endurance is higher. On top of it, runs on Android which itself is far better than iOS.
So yes, S21 is the better one and not the iPhone which is just a waste of cash

I'm asking because I have smaller ears and I'm quite satisfied with design which goes more outwards instead of width.

Maybe, just maybe, people don't want cheap plastic back on a 850€ phone? Just saying... I mean, they gave it better display, better cameras, better chipset, yet sales are lower? How? I know I wouldn't touch such expensive phone with plastic back. Inbefore everyone starts screeching how plastic is oh and so better than glass like every single time I post this complaint over Galaxy S21 series and their stupid plastic backs. If it was glass I'd have it on my shortlist of phones. With plastic back it dropped off from it entirely. And seeing the future with Samsung pushing even more plastic on even higher models in S range, it looks like I'll simply never buy Galaxy S... I'll probably get A50 or A70 series where plastic back is expected due to their price. Not on such expensive range topping model.
