My company (a Global Technology company) is creaming themselves over getting iPhones. Completely locked down iPhones but they "think" it makes them look more refined and gives presteige. It is all about looks in business.

Heh, comparing the sales of the Note 2 to the iPhone 5, why would you compare a niche phone to something aimed at the masses?

Ckckck, 03 Nov 2012Agreed with your facts. Back then usability and quality of ... moreNot that far away. Major selling apps are already at Google Play. Again, Android is more than 50% of the world's smartphone OS, iOS is below 40% of that pie. User experience with the top Android smartphones are that with true multi-tasking & fluidity now with Android 4.1, even with split-screen capabilities. It only makes sense with the big screen and more RAM. Note II is close to the battery longevity of the iPhone 5, with more features, capabilities, memory expansion, more screen pixel count and connectivity. It's media player + cellphone against small digitizer computer + cellphone at a lower price. No use denying those facts. You want something not as high-tech, you get the iPhone as a great media player dependent on iTunes to manage content and feel-good aura of an aluminum & glass covered body which is a priced at more than US$1000 in some countries like mine.

NK, 02 Nov 2012ok you want a comparison between iphone 5 & S3 here u a... moreYou only talk about build quality and the hardware of the phone. Wanna know why your iPhone seems much more faster only with dual-core? Go to safari, Load a page and before it can load, try scrolling through the blank page. You will notice that the page won't load until you let go of the screen. That's what i call pseudo multitasking. Android would load the page while you're scrolling. True multitasking.
What you can only customize in iOS is your pathetic wallpaper not considering Jailbreaking iPhones or Rooting Android phones. In Android, You can add Widgets to your home screen, customize your wallpaper and even put Live Wallpapers to make your homescreen more lively although it may consume more battery. And now with newer versions of Android, you can also choose to put a weather widget on your lockscreen and hopefully other kind of Widgets in Android 4.2

With over 700k apps with some are in low quality, android could not offer any user exp till now at least. Apple is still ruling in apps and thats why. I am owned note II and iphone 5. And android has years to become best against iphone5

NK, 03 Nov 2012im not an iphone user but im talking the fact , you are tal... moreHere are facts as well:
If Microsoft, Nokia, Compaq, Motorola, Palm Pilot and HP did not come up with Smartphones & organizers, Apple would have not been able to copy anything to come up with the iPhone.
Android smartphones can directly be connected to a smart tv without "AirPlay".
New features of iOS6 like text to cancel call, panoramic photo integration, wallpaper are from Android, even Google Map.
Apple was not the the inventors of a voice activated assistance.
Apple is now playing catch-up, with their bigger iPhone screen, 7" iPad, features copied from Android. Jobs admits copying features of existing smartphones when "inventing" the iPhone. Apparently, even the "iPhone" name is not original because Apple is being sued by a Mexican phone company with its "iFone" copyright 4 years before iPhone.
Can the devices you mentioned do and have features of the SG Note II? They aren't selling as much too as s III with 30 million sold, and Note II - 3 million sold in 37 days.
It was the glass that broke, not the body. Note II seems to withstand the drops. Iphone 5 broke in some.
I have respect to the fact that Apple did start this aspect in 2007. iOS not perfect as you think - look at the latest update that fixed glitches. More than 50% of smartphones worldwide are powered by Android.
Google Play has about 700,000 apps now. Yes, we have most of the games too. Yes, we have lots of productive apps as well.
Probably you just have an iPod, with you talking so passionately about how good iOS is.

NK, 02 Nov 2012ok you want a comparison between iphone 5 & S3 here u a... moreapple has a custom core...which gives performances similar to cortex A15(it os not A15 though) which is similar to snapdragon's krait cores...
these dual core krait give better performance compared to quad core A9....
the upcoming cortex a15 chips outdo everything else ont he market..
hence the exynos 5250(dual core) in the upcoming galaxy S4 is going to be better than the quad core galaxy S3.
so just because it is quad core doesn't mean its better...I have a desktop PC,which is dual core but 3.2ghz ...it gives better performance than quad core 2.2 ghz processors..
