Anonymous, 07 Aug 2021Huawei should focus on battery life also. My Huawei y6 pro is 3020mah, have been using my phone for almost 2hrs now. From 100% to 80% @2hrs

kirstenw, 06 Aug 2021Man just look at that elegant design. You are going to love... moreThat's a big win for them, and I appreciate them for not giving up

Techboy-Dexe, 05 Aug 2021I am thinking of buying this phone So can someone tell me... moreIf you are using google, some apps may not work properly and may lag/crash. Outside of China, a phone needs to have gms for it to sell, otherwise they become paperweight.

IBM296, 06 Aug 2021Huawei seriously needs to re-consider their price game. Who... moreTrue, and that paltry battery, they need to fix that to be competitive. Most Huawei users haave already moved on to other brands anyways. Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi lapped them up.

Poor battery...now u can get Samsung with 6000

Man just look at that elegant design. You are going to love every single bit of this phone thanks to its great chipset and all that pros with the camera as well. So far, huawei has made some of the best phones we have all seen and i think we can say that they found success in the past few years even with google banning them and forcing them to create their own system instead of the one they use back then. That is a huge win for the company and i salute them for their grit in these times.

Huawei seriously needs to re-consider their price game. Who would buy a $550 mid-range phone nowadays when you can get almost flagship level phones from Xiaomi, Oppo and Realme with the best cameras at $350.

3800 mah battery?. What are they smoking!!

Buppy, 05 Aug 2021Where are they fabbing the 820E chip. SMIC?TSMC, the Kirin 820E is a functionally binned version of the Kirin 820. They're the chips that are left once the best quality ones became Kirin 820s. Deactivating an A76 core and an A55 core seems pretty drastic so it looks like their aiming to get as many functional dies as possible.

Where are they fabbing the 820E chip. SMIC?

Techboy-Dexe, 05 Aug 2021I am thinking of buying this phone So can someone tell me... moreDon't. Trash 3.8k mah battery with horrible curved edges and way too expensive. Buy nord 2 if camera and poco f3 or f3 gt if perfomance. Plus thier far chesprr

YUKI93, 05 Aug 2021"The Huawei nova 8’s CPU has six cores - 3x Cortex-A76... moreIt is not a typo. 820E is hexacore in 2x3 configuration.

"The Huawei nova 8’s CPU has six cores - 3x Cortex-A76 at 2.22 GHz and 3x Cortex-A55 at 1.84 GHz."

That surely must be a typo. After all, even the Kirin 820 chipset from the Nova 7 SE has a 1+3+4 core configuration.

Looks like a nice phone.
