Pixel 6 are too big. Plz 6 inch max size

Was interested in the Pro till I saw the curved screen.

Why do companies insist on the whole curved screen idea? Haven't they learned the last few years curved screens are garbage?

Even though the CEO is an Indian, he hasn't been able to convince the board members of Google into launching the higher variants of the Pixel line-up in India. Pixel 4a has been quite a hit despite being around 431$ here in India & not having any after sales service centre in India (not even 1). If the device is faulty, the product takes roughly 5 weeks to return to you after being picked up & there is no way to speed up the process. Feels bad that Google treats India like a low class citizen. They would surpass Apple in terms of sales if they actually made an effort.

those demands are on internet by people who watch videos of most expensive phones and actually have a 200 dollar smartphone. In reality very few would actually watch them.

Here in my country, there is a lot of demand for Pixel phones despite not being officially available since day one. I even see a lot of current Samsung and iPhone users who have long eyed for a Pixel. Heck, there are even groups specifically made for local Pixel users.

Let me put it this way: Even if you give a Full Frame sensor with such a vast resolution, you still end up having less pixel pitch size than a 1" 20.1MP sensor. Sure that you can argue about pixel binning, but unless if you have an oversampling technique á la Nokia/Microsoft PureView, don't expect it to be any better than the current Quad Bayer and Nona Bayer sensor since you have to sacrifice even more detail during the binning process. Don't make me even start talking about the ongoing AI Cam race.

I still don't believe that Quad Bayer and Nona Bayer pixel binning is the way forward, especially with the ongoing obsession with AI that only results in a severe oversharpening effect.

Cool design for once, but the android experience is a big letdown because it is just the basic android os. No extra software features, no 3.5mm jack, no SD card slot, no availability in most of the countries (im from Europe).
Maybe if you are OBSESSED with the camera, but otherwise it's a big NO!
Also, it's too expensive if you compare it to Samsung for example, which has every possible feature, software speaking.

This Tensor chipset "so called" Google's own is actually made by Samsung and will perform just like their Exynos chipset which is a huuuge NO for me since I have had really bad experience with Flagship Exynos in S20 series.... Not worth it... If only they went with Qualcomm or Mediatek only then it would have been worth considering.

Google's Android phone is good but you have to pay more attention to the design, and you have to give a refresh rate to each phone.

I understand what you're trying to say with the stacking and everything, but there's always a physical limitation.

We may see 1Gp camera soon and imagine that zoom.

                                      Too BIG.
I have a Pixel 5 and I am happy with it. I don't play games or watch countless hours of videos off YouTube. For me a phone is a tool and I get 2 days worth from a Pixel 5. I got it because the spec was decent enough and the size was reasonable with decent battery life +5G for future proofing.
If the iPhone 12 mini has a bigger battery I would have gone for that instead.
Seriously, what is it with massive phones. Can I just have a decent phone that takes pictures that I can actually get in my pocket without being castrated every time I sit down?

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2021They lost me when they decided that it was phablet or phabl... moreI have 4a in order to try (i was Chinese market like OnePlus Realme etc.) and then ho to a more expensive. Say 5 (which would now be 6)
They wan me over Chinese for the clean android, special camera software, compact size, simple design and interaction).
I would prefer to go with Pixel 6 (mini) and Pixel 6xl rather than 6 ,6 pro ....
If not a mini or compact version then i would try something else like Asus 8! 8, compact, flagship, 620€!
Then the availability problem for Europe....
I bought the pixel 4a after 1 year was released 0(2021) for 375€ which is about 441$. Because 2020 price was 550$..
Imagine now the "flagship" been around 300+ more expensive or buying them 1 year after....
Anyway Pixel 5a maybe will be a compact which again is not the full Google special hardware (as rumours say) neither will be available to many countries...
Sorry but i already start to look elsewhere (except if things change) .
                                        I wit and hope so.
